As a freelance audio technician, you can also hire me for business events. In this case, to amplify a debate and provide music during the drinks afterwards. The National Healthcare Debate is an initiative of BNR and Zorgvisie, is made possible by Philips, and took place in Dauphine. The debate was chaired by Nina van den Dungen.

I not only provided the sound in the room, but also recorded the debate so that BNR can make a podcast and radio broadcast of it.

The Dutch healthcare system is creaking and groaning: more and more people need care, but how do we keep that care qualitative, affordable and accessible to everyone? The need is great and a real vision is lacking, especially now that another cabinet has fallen.

That is why the National Healthcare Debate 2025 discussed which plans are needed from a new healthcare minister.

Four leading figures from the healthcare sector faced each other:

  • Conny Helder, former Minister for Long-Term Care and Sports (VVD)
  • Georgette Fijneman, Chair of the Board of Health Insurer Zilveren Kruis
  • Carina Hilders, Chair of the Board of the UMC Utrecht
  • Leonard Witkamp, Healthcare Entrepreneur and Founder of the Digital Hospital Ksyos
