Melissa Etheridge performing live in 2007
A jingle has been created for (the fictitious?) WKL radio, to promote a broadcast of a live concert of Melissa Etheridge. The voice-over and the space effects were supplied. The jingle has been created in Protools and runs for exactly 30 seconds. A lot of effects and compression are being used. By the use of ducking the voice-over stays clear.
The voice-over talks about ‘the female Bruce Springsteen’ which gave me the inspiration for the first ten seconds of this Jingle. The ‘No’ you hear is the intro of Alphabetstreet by Prince while the ‘sorry’ is a sample from the Hip Hop Club Remix of M – Popmuzik by Ben Liebrand.
